on Saturday 23 May, I’ll be giving a talk on Poor Artists & my experience of friendship and communities in art at Škuc Gallery, as part of the Friends with Benefits programme put on by the School for Curatorial Practices and Critical Writing World of Art.

‘Exploring how friendship creates resilience, and citing Mark Fisher, Discord and knitting circles, in this lecture, Gabrielle de la Puente will talk about how friendship can help people survive the art industry, or just their regular daily life in 2026.’
